For those who read George Orwell’s Animal Farm, you definitely remember the saying “all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than the others”. That’s what we’ve come to prove to you today. Every soccer fan will agree that all footballers are hard workers and their hustle should be respected. But hey guys, we are here to give double-dose of the respect to the guys who hustle more than others. So here is our list of! 10 footballers players that demand serious respect:

This is the real MVP. The 30-year-old Uruguayan football player currently plays as a striker for the football club FC Barcelona, and the Uruguay national team. His Barcelona deal in 2014 made him one of the most expensive players in the world football history. He scored his 100th goal for the club against Athletic Bilbao. If you score 100 goals for your club in 3 years, the earth should stop rotating on its axis every time you put on your jersey.

2. Ngolo Kante (Chelsea)

 

 

 

 

 

You probably think of this guy when you say up blues! The 25-year-old French footballer plays for the English club Chelsea. He made his first senior appearance in 2016. He was part of the team that finished as runners-up for the 2016 European championship. He was named Man of the man for the 2017 FA Cup quarter-finals after he scored the only goal in the 51st minute. It also happened to be the winning goal against Manchester United at Stamford bridge. He saved the day.

3. Kelechi Iheanacho (Man. City)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Let’s just say papilo returned to us in another body. Born in October1996, Kelechi Iheanachor started playing for Manchester City senior squad in 2015. He started his career at the Taye academy in Owerri, and then to the Nigerian U-17 team, before moving to the Premier League club, Man city. He ended the 2016 Premier league season with 14 goals for his team and ranked as their 3rd highest goal scorer for the competition.

Meet the striker extraordinaire for Manchester United. He started playing soccer at the age of 6, and almost quit at 15, but he carried on, with eyes on his idol, Ronaldo. He’s played for Barca, Milan and even Juventus before he finally moved on to Manchester United. Before he retired in 2016 from playing internationally, he bagged lots of career credits, including hat-tricks, being captain and winning finals. He deserves double honours from the school of respect.

5. Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

 

 

 

 

 

Since 2011, when Kane made his debut appearance as a senior, for Tottenham Hotspur, he’s been a regular goal scorer and starter for the team. In 2015, he won the premier league player of the month twice – back to back. He also plays for the England team and represented them in the 2016 UEFA Euro. And to keep our memories fresh on why we should put some respeck on his name, he scored a hat-trick in February against Stoke-city.

6. Thomas Muller (Bayern Munich)

 

 

 

 

 

 

The 27-year-old joined Bayern Munich in 2010. And in his 6 appearances in that year, he scored 5 goals for the German national team. He won the golden boots for that year’s tournament and even won Best Young Player. In 2016, he featured in 9 matches in the UEFA Euro, and he scored a total of 9 goals, let’s just say he delivers.

7. Toni Kroos (Real Madrid)

 

 

 

 

 

 

This 27-year-old midfielder for the Spanish club Real Madrid, who also plays for the Spanish national club, has had a history of success. In August 2014, he won his first trophy at Real Madrid. In 2016, he won his second Champions league trophy, making him the first ever German to lift the Champions league trophy with two different clubs. He is, quite simply, an incredible player.
